ESM’s Children’s Services

Children’s Home & Community Support Services 

ESM’s Children’s Services provide support services to children who have ID. Habilitation Specialists work with children in their home or in the community focusing on behavior management, physical and social development to promote self maintenance, physical fitness, self awareness, self motivation and to assist with sensory, motor and psychological development.

Eligibility Requirements: 

· Child must be between the age of 4 and 20.

· Child must have a diagnosis of Intellectual Disability or Autism.

· Child must be eligible for MaineCare.

· Must either meet the definition of Intellectual Disability or must have an Axis II Diagnosis
